Indestructibles Baby Books

TLDR: We got these Indestructible Books for our little one to play with. Slowly, she was able to sit and flip pages. The book was upside down but she was definitely flipping pages. It has survived the teething, drool, throw-up, ripping(it’s rip-proof), etc. Very useful for the little one to start the process of learning what books are and their purpose.

Okay, you are dismissed. Now for the rest of you, I’ll try to keep it brief. This is not a sponsored ad, nor do I get a commission from any of this foolishness. Just a dad excited to share what I’m learning…. from my wife and child.

Earlier when I said “We” I meant the wife researched, purchased, accepted the delivery, unpackaged, and handed it to our little one. I simply saw it a week later and asked when we got that.

These indestructible books not only have lasted the little one trying to rip them recently, but in the early days, she was throwing up. Mostly because she would drink milk and I thought it was play time after, but I also think it was partially because she was allergic to some of the ingredients to the milk. Logical right? This is what one of them look like now.

As our little began seeing us sit with her and flip through pages, she evolved from waving them around Petty Pablo style, to chewing on them. Eventually as we would pull them out of her mouth she would learn to open the pages as if it were a book she could read. Somehow she managed to always open it upside down, and at page 2 or 3 but she was learning. She now is able to open these books one page at a time. The Dr. Seuss with the thick pages, she can also manage but anything other than that…RIP.

We aren’t impressed by milestones and don’t spend time competing against other parents of when which kid does what first. Because our little one does it first!

Great use of funds, is my final take. Gotta run off to work.

In any case, here’s a set of 6 from Target. Again, I get no commission from this.
